Single Shot Loaders for FX rifles

Since my FX Streamline .22 is (still) amazingly accurate (she consistently shoots sub-moa groups at 50m), I think she deserves a SSL that is better than the FX Single Shot Tray.

The CARM SSL that I'm using on my Dream-Tac is awesome. Unfortunately, they don't make one for the Streamline.

I just discovered Rowan Engineering products, as I was looking for alternatives to the FX SST. The Rowan Engineering product looks perfect. Has anyone ever tested their SSL for the Streamline or for any other FX rifle? How do they compare with the CARM SSL?

I have a Rowan SSL for Air Arms. it is a wonderfully machined piece. I did not know Rowan had expanded their lines to include FX, thanks for alerting me! I notice the FX versions operate manually while the Air Arms one opens automatically when retracting the bolt, but no big deal when single loading anyway.

Search eBay. I bought a cheap plastic SST and it works fine. The Rowan product is obviously of higher quality, but if it works, it works. I have found that my Royale 400 shoots as good with the mag as without, unusual with a spring activated magazine.

Ah, it's just a personal choice. Not because it provides better accuracy, as I just don't know if that is the case.

I really prefer to shoot this way. Loading a magazine is boring. And when I used one, it happened that I cycled twice and ended up with 2 rounds in the chamber. Not great

Hi, I know CARM products. Unfortunately, CARM don't make SSL for the Streamlines.

Probably not an issue. The ST barrels don't generally handle slugs well. But, it's a great pellet barrel.

I use the cheap ones sold on ebay, but I like them a lot. I also modified one for my nova star because the magazine spacing and interface is identical. I printed one myself for my .30 barrel.

I didn't see a single loader for FX Crown ,on Rowan Engineering products , but I wonder if the Dreamline single loader wouldn't fit on the Crown , as their magazines do .

CARM can't make SST's for the classic FC actions since he is 3 D printing the magazines and the breech engagement of the magazines is too thin to print. Rowan is probably making them from a mold and the plastic is much stronger and therefore he can make them. I actually prefer the CARM SST over the Rowan in this case as I think it's a better design. The Rowan will also git the Royale action as well but not dreamline since it's angled and not flat.

I have and use a Rowan single shot loader for my FX Dreamline. It’s a wonderful device. Works flawlessly, has a little magnet that ensures it’s closed, and lets old fingers still load in a reasonable time..

I had a Rowan single shot loader for my FX Royale. It was a fantastic piece of engineering. Very well made and very simple to use. A FX deserves more than just a cheap plastic block.

Do you have a link to the Rowen Engineering single shot loader for the FX Royale? I can’t seem to find it on there site.

I don't know if this fits the Dreamline but I bought this FX SSL with my Impact back in early 2020 and I have not seen these recently. If you see the slot that means you can load the longest slug available for calibre.
