I have a Simmons ProAir 4-12x40 with a broken reticle. Simmons has Bushnell's service center listed for repairs. Does anyone have experience with Bushnell customer service for airgun scope repairs?

Call and check with a technician before you send it in. I sent in a discontinued Bushnell Elite 8-32x front focus objective. They replaced the scope with a newer side focus 8-32x model (higher retail price) without telling me.
It was a nice surprise. BUT the newer model minimum focus was 25 yards. My old one focused down to 10 yards. I needed it to focus down to 10 yards because I shoot field target. I called them to see if they'll pay for a Leupold close focus adapter ($80?). No such luck.
I assumed they replaced it because most Bushnell products are lifetime warranty and they did not have parts for the discontinued model (or didn't want to bother to fix it).
So my suggestion, discuss the work you want done with a technician, get the name of the technician, put down in writing all the work you want done with the scope when you discussed it with the technician. Then make sure that information is with your scope when you ship it to Bushnell.

I called Bushnell and they said Simmons didn't provide them any tools or parts to repair the old line of scopes. I asked them to contact me before sending a replacement.
