Crosman Silhouette sites

Evening everyone,

I’m going tomorrow to pick up a very nice Crosman Silhouette from my local airgun smith. It comes with a red dot if I want to pay extra. The gun comes from Crosman with no sighting at all. I was buying this with the idea of competing in CMP events and apparently red or green dots are not allowed, only peep or iron sites. I’ve found what looks like a good one for $90 so my question is, can I reliably switch sites depending on what I’m doing or am I better off sticking to one system?

Set it up with irons. You can add or remove a dot with out messing with the irons. Pretend there is a front sight on the bottom two.

Here it is with the green/red dot, it does both! I gues I’ll have to remove the shroud if I want to put an iron site on. A very nice gun though.

you found what for 90 bucks
does it have its front sight or is that missing
i am guessing you found the Williams blade rear sight that has Crosman's name on it that is a nice choice
and if you add that rear sight, a red dot of reflex could be added and removed at you pleasure

use a torque wrench w mounting the optics so that it's "more" sighted in when you doff or don
