Silent shooting PCP

Your not unrealistic because I just bought an aftermarket shroud for my Vulcan.25 BP and all I hear is the mechanics of the gun and the pellet hitting the target. You just unscrew the factory shroud and replace it with the "Hush" shroud which is only 3.5" longer than the factory shroud. Here's a before and after picture.

"Nutcracker"It is funny shooting a really quiet PCP. Sometimes when I miss the target & hear no pellet impact, I think my Colibri/Hummingbird malfunctioned. The same reaction occurs when you are putting the pellet into the same hole of a paper target. Note: The Colibri also has holes in the shroud. Must be something to that.
For me, the quieter the gun, the more "dangerous" it becomes because you sort of get tricked into thinking it's not as powerful as it really is. When you hear a loud "BOOM", everyone knows that is a deadly weapon, but when your hear nothing but "click" it almost seems like a toy -- but it's not. Respect the Click! :)

I have thought the same thing. The lack of loud noise makes you let your guard down some. You always need to treat these guns just like they are firearms as far as safe handling goes.

I bought my "Hush" shroud on the yellow and traded some of my JSB King .25g,s for the JSB King Heavies MKll it's a great place to find all the great airgun related products. Don't get me wrong Airgun Nation is pretty good to especially for airgun info but the "Yellow" classifieds seem to have a bigger selection. By the way not to get off the original topic but I was shooting my Vulcan.25 today with the "Hush" shroud and man this gun is super quiet an unbelievably accurate I was picking off birds to out to 100yds with ease.
