I was thinking about getting a tko silencer for my air rifle but then I'd have to get a bigger gun case if I can find the right size. I really don't need a silencer anyways. I shoot at a indoor shooting range. Everyone has loud guns there.

I bought a TKO for my Benji Maximus Hunter (comes with the 1/2 x 20 UNF on the barrel) and just screw it on when I take the gun out for a shoot. Between shoots it stays in the heavily padded gun case with the Maximus. That approach works for me and the TKO does a great job of quieting the Maximus. I'm thinking of trying it out on the new Walther Terrus I just received - both the Maximus and the Terrus are .22 with 1/2x20 UNF threading.

The silencer will screw off to permit your gun to fit into it's current case. DonnyFL makes the best silencers on the market, at a reasonable price!
There are times when you would like to shoot when you are away from the range...silence is golden when you have neighbors.

oh ok. well I thought once I put that silencer on it shouldn't be taken off. because the screws might strip. I have a CO2 air rifle. not a pcp one.

I wouldn't say Donny is the best. There are many ldc out there that are just as good if not better. His ldc are good and works but they are expensive. $150 to $250 for a ldc. You can get a TKO for $40-80. I've use 3 tko ldc in the past and they work great. Even used unbrand ldc from eBay for $30 and they also work great too.

the 2260? If so, your barrel isn't threaded for a screw on silencer. You CAN get barrel adapter that uses grub screws to hold it snug on the barrel and has a threaded end for a screw on of your choice. Just be aware that the adapter and silencer will cost 2/3 as much as your gun did new. The TKO slip on's are great for crosman co2 guns but I wouldn't take it on/off everytime you use it. Little different than screwing one on.
oh, and I remember you saying you shot it with the open sights.... if you put anything on the end of the barrel you will lose the front sight. Might not matter if you went with a scope.

ok what rifle do you have and do you know the barrel diameter
if your barrel is not threaded you buy an adapter, it will be fastened with 1 or 2 set screws and you can find them on Ebay for about 25 bucks, two seller are in Poland and the other Serbia, I have personally bought from 2 out of the 3, service was great, product was first class
so you state you don't need one and I myself only buy item I do need, so maybe you need to think about this some more, just my opinion

I have a scope on it now. Yeah I figured a tko wouldn't be good to take on and off all the time.

no I don't know the barrel size. it's a Sheridan 2260MB CO2 .22 caliber single shot bolt action pellet gun. air rifle. I don't need a silencer.

Since we are on the subject. When do you see the benefits of a suppressor ? Is there a certain muzzle velocity where too low makes no difference? Are there different guns/actions that don’t benefit from suppressors ? Like break barrel springers? And lastly. How may people in the US file for a Form 4 ?

It ain't no sili***er, it is an LDC (lead dust collector) if you want to be able to eventually keep on buying them without a bunch of "extra hoops"
