Silencer swap - does it change POI?

I was having this conversation with my go to gun supplier.

On my RedWolf .22 HP there is ONE 0dB moderator that the gun LOVES! I have tried every major brand moderator on it in multiple calibers and even other 0dB moderators in the same caliber that do not give the same accuracy as the one that I have on it now...

It is a .30 0DB and even swapping to another exact same moderator the accuracy suffers..

Not sure how or why but just what I have seen first hand..

I now make it a point to try multiple moderators on every gun I receive just to squeeze the last millimeter of accuracy out of them...

So far 0dB and DonnyFL seem the most forgiving followed by Huggett and Huma as far as the "big 4 brands" go....

I will say bang for the buck the Huma 40/4 does a GREAT job if your gun likes it!

That's why it is best to leave the specific LDC attached to that gun only (permanently epoxied or locktited is best if you are an accuracy nut who requires the tiniest groups at long distances) and not unscrew it to share among other guns.

Best accuracy and most quietest is to have a shroud or LDC specifically made for your gun from Allen Z (AZ). You don't know what you are missing if you never owned an AZ gun before. They are so ridiculously MOUSEFART quiet it's like shooting the gun with zero air in them with his shrouds or LDCs. You really think your gun is broken or completely out of air when taking your shots. He does not make threaded LDCs and what he makes is specific to your gun alone and caliber specific as well even if your barrel isn't perfectly concentric you see the exit hole not centered but perfect in relation to only your bore. He makes them attached via epoxy or grubscrew and not threaded on unless epoxied permanently to guarantee accuracy.
