Silencer/Moderator for Hatsan QE models?

I just bought the new hatsan flash wood version .22cal. its a little louder then I expected but ive only shot it 10-15 times, will it get quieter with use?

Do many ppl add additional aftermarket moderators onto Hatsans QE shrouded moderator? I know DonnyFL has an adapter so his moderators screw right on to the existing hatsan QE models but do they really make it much quieter since the QE is already shrouded/moderated? Ive been looking at Donnys Koi and Sumo mostly but haven't counted out Tatsu or Tanto yet either.

any reccomendations? and are there any pics of Hatsan QE models with any of donnys moderators? ive been looking but havent found any, id just like to see how they look ontop the QE.

How quiet do you want the gun to be? Have you had a friend shoot it while you stand 10 feet away? My own flash QE is pretty darn quiet as a stock gun. I hear the hammer and valve much .ore than I hear the air from the shot, but that is just me.

Good luck to ya.

Good suggestion! My 25 cal flashpup was very quiet. It might just seem loud to you as the shoot but quiet to someone close by. Also, try heavier pellets to slow it down a bit.

I have a Hatsan Gladius .22 cal rifle, and I do 99% of my shooting indoors.
That said, I like to quiet my guns down as much as possible to eliminate loud shots and echos..

My Gladius also has the QE barrel shroud, but, in OEM form, it was still too loud [for me]

I opted for Donny's adapter, and I use his RONIN .25 cal version suppressor to quiet it down..
And it is Quiet. Very VERY Quiet! When I shoot it, I really only hear the hammer hitting..
The only other noise is the louder hit when the pellets hit the backstop/target.

Outside, our rifles are obviously 'quieter', so it really depends where you'd be shooting..
I live in cities, so again - the quieter the better for me..

If you do opt to go silent.. The adapter you'd need is the #A24 [Hatsan QE: 1/2-20 UNF]
And that's actually my Hatsan in the picture. 🤘

As for the actual sound.. It's sort of hard to relay since the camera mic makes things sound louder,
but, here's a vid clip of mine being shot indoors. Full power w/ the DonnyFL Ronin:
