Yeah, it is, but their is a lto of air blasting out of that barrel. I think the barrel is like 10 inches short, I meant long. ( on the short vixen) To get the energy, they pushed a lot of air out the muzzle.

That’s odd because I’ve heard several people remark about how quiet the vixen is thanks to the huge shroud. Could you have a leak that’s causing excess noise?

Yes, the Pugio helps quiet the barrel report(Uragan 2 barrel report is very quiet without Pugio though). The noise from the hammer/valve is = to the stock barrel report.
With Pugio, the hammer/valve sound is all I hear.

I got a Pugio for my U2 .25. And although it does a great job quieting down the (fairly quiet to begin with) report, I’m getting terrible pellet and slug clipping from it. With just the shroud the gun is hole on hole.

Hey Darylm, no Clipping on mine but is a .22 U2. Do you have the plastic or aluminum end cap? Either way, drill the end cap out a little if you can see that it’s clipping on the end cap.

I have the aluminum cap. A .25 pellet/slug fits through the hole just fine, so I’m not sure why it’s clipping. But yes, I was going to drill it out a little wider to see if that’s corrects the issue.

Carbon Fiber Shroud with 3D printed moderator for AGT Vixen
I was surprised that a little 0.177 Vixen short was louder than my Edgun 0.25 R5M long. So I tested some 3D printed moderators that were 2" longer that stuck out of shroud and screwed into the shroud and barrel. They were all quieter than OEM. So I decided to buy a CF tube and make a 2" longer...
