I have a Crosman F4. Is it possible to somehow install "iron sights", thereby eliminating the scope?

There is no easy way, but it can't be done. Personally I don't like break barrels, but if I had to put a sight on one to replace a scope, I'd use red dot reflex site (un lit). They're available for 11 mm dovetail mounts, and typically under $25 if you don't mind Chinese makers.
