Sightron S6 fieldtarget

I'm on the conservative side.

Even though Sightron has a proven track record of making excellent scopes and a great supporter of FT shooting.

Since this is a new product, I would like some reliability history and review data (not the paid ones) before sending $2000 to Sightron.

Just want to make sure the promised design spec meet expectations and some reliability and consistency information (temperature sensitivity, reliability on a springer? etc) would help me loosen my purse strings.

Couple years ago (maybe 4) there was a rumour that Sightron and Falcon is coming out from the same production plant with some small differences in material they source, and a paint job. That was back in time, later I hear Sightron production was (moved) in Philippines or something like that.
Sightron is mainly sold in the US market (as we see where is more popular) and Falcon is for EU market including the Island.
Both Brands have their own restricted exports, ITAR vs NATO.
I got myself the Falcon X50T long range (X504LR) from EU and I didn't regret at all. Eyeing now the new X50i it was said will hit the mass market in May.
The X50i is ED glass and floating center point, 338 recoil rated, and the pre order price was hard to resist. It says Made in England what I would question, my previous scope was made in Japan.

Hello, Im new to the game here. I'm also looking at the new Sightron S6. Does anyone have anything to share on how Sightron's quality would compare to the Athlon Ares ETR UHD 15-60? Sightron just said availability is estimated in July. Thanks
I ordered the Athlon Ares ETR 212108 in Late February which was suppose to be here in mid to late March. Have received to new ship dates from Anthon and both dates missed. Called today and informed sometime in June. I already paid for the scope in March from a popular Dealer and if the June arrival day scheduled is missed I likely will cancel it and order the S6. It was my first choice but I thought I could get the ETR as promised. The only thing I am concerned about with the ETR is the reticle may be too fine for my eyes to see on dark targets. The best scope for any competition shooter or hunter isn't any good if you can't get it on your rifle.

I tried this ETR hoping to use it for HFT. The reticle was too fine for my eyes. Other than this, it was typical excellent Athlon Quality.
