Sightron S-tac ?

I've ordered a Sightron S-Tac 4-20 FFP moa for the Epic Two, as it's much lighter than what's on there and has some positive remarks on the net.
But I would like to know if anyone on here uses/used them and what they thought?

I really don't go past 100 yards (yet) so I'm really just after light and clear optics.

One of the best bangs for the buck in optics Especially when you find them on sale at 5-600$ Clear glass,( not top tier but very good for the price range) I personally like the reticles because they’re not overly cluttered and are illuminated And do a decent job at ranging with the Parralax.

I got the FFP 4-20x50 illuminated with the moa reticle. exposed turrets.

@MACTEN They are good scopes in my experience. I have that one, but havent used it. I also have it in SFP with an MOA-2 reticle. . I like it other than the fact that I’ve moved away from SFP scopes for the time being. Good reticle, pretty good glass for the price point. The build quality feels good. I had my SFP mounted on a Brocock Bantam Sniper for a while. There are a decent amount of threads on these scopes. Here’s one that may be useful to you.

I’m looking at upgrading my Hawke 4-16x50 Airmax to a Sightron S-Tac 4-20x50 FFP scope to use primarily for HFT With my TX200 HC. I suspect that the additional magnification along with a larger scope wheel will help in getting more accurate target distance measurements. Does anyone have any...

The main compliants I’ve read about them are thin reticle complaints and the reticle being too small to use at lower magnifications.

I have the Sightron STAC 26015 4-20X50 MOA ..good scope.The reticle is good.I think peoples eyes may be the problem,so for some that maybe a problem.I think my scope is a little different?

Both mrad and Moa versions are nice. Made in the phillipines but fully supported by Sightron

@MACTEN I forgot to mention that my scopes are primarily for hunting and my main complaint about Sightron S-Tac scopes is the lack of numbered markings on the parallax knob. There are no numbers. I hate that about them.

I have two SFP versions. Excellent scopes, and have the reticle I like best.

But looking at the specs, I was always taken aback by the comparatively low FoV at the bottom magnification.....
Only 22ft at 4x....
(Some 6-24x have a wider FoV.)

4-20x usually have a wider FoV than the Sightrons at 4x:
32ft (Swampfox Warhawk)
28ft (Athlon Helos + Heras | HiLux | Hawke Frontier | Vector Paragon)

For rushed close range shots — I feel I need around 30ft of FoV at min. mag.

The numbers on the parallax adjustment knob are meaningless. All scopes should have the knobs like Sightron & Riton use with no numbers on them. Everyone's vision is different. If a person is setting their parallax knob/wheel according to the numbers on the knob they are most likely NOT setting the optic parallax free, or even focused properly.

bbgun dont let that stop you. you can put your own numbers on it and get it right where it should be. Sightron had these on sale last month for 592 plus whatever your governor charges, I bought this model 26016. the small fov is about the only gripe. The moa illuminated reticle was what sold me. I cant see small dots on ffp scopes on low power but I can see this fine .the dark lord of optics did a review on this scope against a vortex viper pst gen II and he had the same gripe and said for the same price he would take the vortex . But then he ended by saying the stac was not a bad scope at all.
