Sightmark 4k Mini how to adjust recordings

Hi, 

I recently got a Sightmark 4k Mini. It's nice. But the question I have is how do you remove the date and time, battery level and things like that from the video? 

My setup only came with a quick setup card. I didn't receive a full manual and could not find one for this device at the Sightmark website.

I would assume that is somewhere in the menu of the camera, just like it would be on dashcams,,,,,,, these sights are probably build on much the same hardware as dashcams

Looking at the manual for the wraith 4K MAX ( as i can not find the mini ) and in German as the English manual DL link just link to the product page,,,,, but i do German just fine.

In the main menu near the bottom of all the options there should be a option called video stamp or maybe video watermark, entering that you probably have the option to turn off time/date stamps ASO

This menu isn't the same as the standard. There is no stamp option.



I'm guessing without a firmware update the feature does not exist. Just to be abundantly clear...

Just went to YouTube & searched your 4k mini. The 1st video was from Fox Optics. I'm sure they could help you if you called them. Got my Tactacam from there, very helpful people.

Swinging back on this with official confirmation from Sightmark



There is no way to remove the watermark. And I didn't ask about the other overlays like date + time, battery life indicator, rifle profile number, etc. But it's highly unlikely they can be removed from the video or inside the scope view.
