Evening everyone,
This afternoon while making a feeble attempt at organization in my gun cabinet I found a good quality red dot sight I had been using on a target 10/22 but changed back to a scope when I found out the weight rule didn’t apply to the class I was shooting. It’s not a cheap red dot but I don’t have any other gun in need of a sight. Then I took a look at my 2078A which was bought as a competition rifle and came with a peep site. I’m wondering if changing to the red dot would make it a more useful rifle for other things, backyard practice, pesting and so on. It’s a quick install and I could put the peep back on if I needed it for competition. I don’t usually make ongoing changes to things once I get a setup that works but wonder if I might be holding myself back. Suggestions? Maybe I should just buy another gun, always a good idea.
