side shot with iPhone 10 slow motion issues..

im filming in slow motion with my iPhone 10 on my side shot. I get bad crosshair shake at trigger pull. I'm using the Pro Movie app to film and its set at 1080/ 240 frames per sec.looks incredible I'm just not getting pellet travel on it... Its mounted to a Monstrum G3 6-24x50 scope sitting on top of my Benjamin Marauder 25 cal. if I knew how to post video on here id show you but I not to comp friendly.... any help would be awesome! thanks in advance.

I use iphone mount as well but not side mount like sideshot, and I found out that the stock camera capture pellets trail better than third party apps. moreover, ap/ap lock is bad for capturing pellet flights. Hope it helps.

You want to capture pellet in flight. Use the equipment for the job. Aka, the go pro version. Watch Matt and teds videos. They all use go pro side shot and easily capture pellet in flight. With the phone mount side shot, you have to digital zoom in to get the bigger picture and that will make the quality less.

Try shooting at a longer distance with the sun behind you. See if that helps

I think he is referring to Matt Dubber and Ted's Holdover on Youtube. They post a lot of hunting videos.

And as you know pellet speed probably has an effect on the ability to film the pellet in flite as well. Try a heavier pellet or just backing the speeds down just to film the pellet for fun.
