Side shot scope cam

This makes the second one of these I've had and no matter how I adjust it this is as good as it gets. I've tried 4(LG v40, g7, pixel, s9)phones and the outcome is the same or worst. Is anyone else having these issues? This happens with a 100 scope or my 500 dollar sidewinder. I just think for 200 dollars this thing should be better. If i slightly push on it (bend it) its a little better. The go pro edition is much better I'm sure but a lot more money.

+1

I totally agree and if there is little ambient light it worsens a lot

Thanks. I just had a scope tech (telescope) check it out, he says the mirror is slightly miss aligned (causing flat edge on left) and there is a bulge in ocular tube (causing shadow on right). He can can possibly fix it. He advised me to send it back again but it is alot of hassle. 😒 The last one had a crack in it, but had a very good image, this one has no cracks but useless image after 8x. If this were made from aluminum it would be much better, heavy sure but alignment needs to be more precise than plastic can offer. I think I will cut my loss put it on eBay and get the eagle vision with gopro hero.
