Side Lever Match Grade Breech, Benjamin Marauder

biohazardman built a couple guns, one with the Russian breech and one with the Thailand breech. The Russian breech is tighter but requires barrel machining. The Thai (Exclusive Shop) breeches are drop in and although looser function great and are less expensive. I have a few of the Thai breeches in .25 and the are great. What caliber are you building? The Thai breechs only come in .25 cal. for rifles.

Yes, I tried one and I love it. You will need to turn down a Crosman barrel about .005 of an inch to make it fit. Should be easy by putting the barrel in a drill and turning it while holding a file to the barrel. Support the other end with a piece of wood with a hole in it. You don't need to take much off so it should go quick.

When I get a marauder rifle, that was my plan too. It feels a little easier than pulling the bolt

Hey guys, this specific breech was made for the Discovery it has a different sized tube than the Marauder. Although it looks like they make one for the Marauder and the 13xx guns too.

FWIW: Exclusive is going to be making the breeches with a drop handle, like they are currently doing for the 22XX series. I am going to try one of them for one of my 25 cal Mrods, when they do.

II want one in the worst way for my Prod.
The prod side lever is the last step I want to do to my Prod.
So far it has a mmhf barrel, 16”shroud with ar birdcage flash hider, Bluefork trigger group, b-Staley mod, Ar stock and magpul forearm.
I was interested in the Thai breech, but read a add where a poster had one on his p-rod and in full disclosure the seller wrote that it puffed air in his face each tine he shot it.
Do you guys have any idea what was wrong? Do they all do that? Was it Incorrect installation, poor design or had he lost his breech orings?

I’m not sure how a prod is sealed if it’s similar to a marauder either the breach or probe seal is bad or they have a leak around their transfer port. Mine on the marauder has no leaks at all.

They send a longish piece of material for the transfer port on the Exclusive it is a bit soft and must be cut to size so that is likely the source of the leak. I made my own out of Delrin after I cut the supplied tubing three times and found it was still to short.

The seller had bought it 2nd hand, I think smart money would be on the breech orings missing.
Mute point perhaps, although I have slobbered all over my ebay screen looking at the Thailand breeches before, I do not find it now, and the links provided here do not come up with anything but the “oops” can’t find .message, nor does google.searchs.
My wife does Facebook, maybe she can find it.

Currently, Exclusive doesn't have any listed on ebay. My understanding is working through them on Facebook, gets you a better price.

Looks like Custom Air makes their breeches for the 13xx, Discovery and Marauder as well a much nicer breech it is. Only one left it says.

I am under the impression that the 22xx breech does not fit on a 2220 Benjamin prod, am I wrong?
