Side focus on Athlon Talos scope

The side focus on my scope is hard to turn. I have sent it back to Athlon and they say it is within specs. So I have two questions/thoughts. What about a drop of some kind of lubricant at the base of the wheel, maybe ballistol? Or, does anyone make a little bit larger wheel I could slip on the existing wheel, maybe 2" diameter or so?

I have sat and worked it back and forth many times but it doesn't loosen up any. It's just a pita. Thanks

Heres an alternative option from MK Machining. A star studded 3D print parralax wheel. They carry these for all model athlons. My helos knob was tight, also, till I pit this on. I have these stud wheels on all my other scopes as well.

You can take a UTG scope wheel and dremel out some of the rubber and slip it over the Talon's focus wheel. They have 2 screws to help tighten them down. I did it to all me Athlon scopes. Make sure it is still hard to get it over the focus knob.
