I have exactly what you are asking for coming in tomorrow from Neil Clague. An over barrel shroud/ moderator built in, with an additional moderator I can add on if I choose. Unfortunately Neil said this will be his last one due to his age and health. They made one in the UK but I forgot what company it was called. I will get pics and a review tomorrow when it comes in.

That’s unfortunate, he makes good add-ons and has great customer service.

Has anyone built a moderator / air stripper for the FX Impact using a fully-enclosed barrel shroud-like design? I'm thinking of something that might incorporate baffles to redirect airflow backwards, out of the shroud through ported exit holes.

Wondering if anyone has seen or made anything of this design

Yes I did but without the back venting. It’s not on my gun at the moment because it’s so quiet and makes the action sound like a box full of spanners. 


until I fully resolve the action noise I am not fitting it.
