Show your Springer groups:)...

I’ve been trying to shoot small groups for many many years. When I shoot a magic one, I keep it. It has to be really good…

One summer I set myself a goal to shoot a sub MOA group with a spring Piston air rifle at 100 yards.

The result is below. All of the groups were shot at 100 yards during one summer. The very first time I broke MOA was with an FWB 300s RT I had hopped up to 9 foot pounds by Gary at B & B supply in Minneapolis. The stock had been highly modified by someone else, so I didn’t commit any sins by modifying the rifle somewhat. I did this specifically to try to shoot a 1 inch group which had eluded me for a couple years. It worked.

Four groups shot at 46 yards, the top one was three groups shot in a row at 46 yards. The rifle is a Dave G stocked HW 95 with a barrel sleeve.

A couple of JW groups shot from my knee in a field target position. Both are 70 yard five shot groups. I spent an entire summer shooting long range from my knee.
