Show us your squirrel gun for this season!

In transition to a .25 Veteran standard as I wanted the same accuracy but more energy vs. the Impact .177 at 19 fpe. My designated tree rat KZ ranges from 20 - 40 yards, right in the sweet spot. Bought it on the forum (thanks @madeintheuk) and it is shooting very well with the lighter JSB's, so far limited to my basement 10m range with my backup 90's Bushnell while I wait for my optic. 6 tins of Hades on standby.

Going to give these rings a try...

Used my .25 cricket 2 for the past two seasons. Season opened Saturday and I got to start it off with my new Maverick sniper .30. Only hunted a little over an hour but decent results. I’m excited to get more time with it. Had to move my tree stand and finish my honey do’s so I couldn’t give much time to the squirrels this weekend.

I’ll start the season with either my XS60C or one of my Crosman model 1400 pumpers. .22 cal, 14 fpe, lazer accurate at thirty yards. Once it cools off and the leaves are off the trees I’ll switch to the Crosman Summit Rangers or the Hatsan mod 95 for shots beyond thirty yards. I’ll also carry either my recently acquired sawed off Crosman Fire or it’s mate, the sawed off Shockwave if I decide to hunt squirrels from a canoe. Late in the season when the squirrels are wary I’ll switch to one of my big Hatsan mod 125’s for those forty plus yard shots. In the course of the season I’ll try and hunt with every gun pictured here.
