Here is what I was playing with today. This first graph was from 260 bar down to 118 bar.

I think I am going to keep it at this set up for right now...266 Bar to 110 Bar

I want to shoot 50-60 yards on squirrels and whatever else shows up....Possum etc.

This is the beauty of this gun... so versatile.

Here are some data I put together last weekend tuning my Leshiy. I wanted to have a reference on a sweet spot for for each regulator pressure setting. The number in red is 5% below the plateau velocity or knee velocity. The shots are recorded with velocity and air consumption per shot. Enjoy!

This is frickin' sweet Jack! If I'm reading it correctly the red numbers under the regulator pressure are the point at which the regulator is controlling the power 5% more than the hammer is controlling the power?

Under the air columns is that how much air is consumed for each shot?

Michael, what I did was fire a few shoot for each HST setting under each Reg setting and record the average FPS until the Leshiy plateau for each Reg and HST. The Red number is about 5% below the plateau velocity. the number next to each FPS is what was recorded on the EDMU on how much air was consumed for each shot. I went through lets of pellets and air but also learn a lot. Its a good reference.

Looking at my chart and what you were getting on the JSB Hades were very close to my 85 bar reg setting 775 FPS vs 781 FPS.

You guys are waaaaay to advance for me 😁 I was just happy with this 50 yard group before the winds came up. 6 pellets in the grouping and of course I always throw one....The square is 1 inch and the tune was 750 FPS with the 25 cal 250mm barrel, UTG bug 3X9 scope off a bi pod. Just ordered a new scope from edgun the Tac Vector Veyron 3-12x44FFP to replace the Bug.......

That's what is great about this Leshiy... perfect little truck gun to run over, pull out a shoot, or one to take apart and tinker if you're so inclined. That's 6 dead squirrels and 1 that may require a follow-up... but good enough for me. nice shooting

cmatera - give it another week and you'll be positively blown away. Not sure what caliber you got, but tune it for a low weight pellet and then crank it up for a much heavier pellet and see that it can handle and push both with authority!

Edit - I wanted to add. I've got my Leshiy currently tuned for 10gr JSB .177 pellet @ 900fps. I have some 5.25gr .177 H&N Match Green pellets. I was curious if I would crack the sound barrier - one shot and massive crack later, confirmed. :D I don't think the FX Radar Chrono can read fps that fast.

I do agree it will only get better. I got the 250mm .177, the 250mm .22, and the 350mm .25. I was shooting the .22 with 18.39gr JSB Exacts. I cleaned the gun, mounted the Dedal Stalker, Huma pellet dispenser and BT Monopod, and could not wait to try it. The first shot was LOUD. 10 shots later, when I figured out how to use the EDMU (some), I checked the pressure in BAR after one shot I used 39 BAR! I ran the gun down to 49 bar. I did not expect it to be set so high from the factory. Got out the 6mm wrench and cranked the power down 10 or 12 clicks. I will tune the gun later, but did not have the chrono setup today. A tune is best, but in lieu of that, I want to be using 8-10 BAR per shot which will be sufficient for hunting purposes. I was pleasantly surprised with the Dedal scope. I was worried that 6x would not be enough, but with the big FOV and great glass, I think I should be good out to 75 yards or so without a problem, maybe more now that I had my cataracts removed. I did have a minor hiccup. I did not realize that with where I put the BT monopod on the lower rail, I got a partial set of the safety. When I took it off safe, I had an accidental discharge (of course). The gun was pointed safely downrange. I relocated the monopod further rearward and the problem was solved.

Last night, I watched a lengthy video by Ed with subtitles on the EDMU. I had a heck of a time trying to figure it out. A quick call to Brian at Edgun West and I had the explanation. He said "Oh you have the new EDMU." Some of the settings in the video have now been locked out from the user to prevent misuse. That explained it. Since I had him on the phone, I asked what the factory reg was set at. I've heard 110bar, 120bar, and 130bar. Brian confirmed that the current guns are going out set to 130bar, as they are now using a heavier valve spring. I did buy a Huma reg and reg tester, but plan on trying the gun with the stock reg to see if the Huma is needed.

As I said previously, I was surprised to find that I could get a full handed grip with the stock pistol grip. but I am small (5'5" and 118#) and have small mitts. Probably the biggest surprise was the trigger. From all the horror stories I heard, I expected the worst. The trigger is different, but not at all bad. It is a single stage, but it is smooth and light. I am one of the few who actually prefers a single stage trigger in my AR's. It surprised me when it went off a couple times, and I like that.. It was not gritty or creepy at all. I do have the benefit of having shot many types of firearms so I rarely have a problem with a trigger unless it is jerky, gritty, or creepy. It is not, and it is a LOT better than I was led to believe. I will treat it as a very light shotgun trigger.

That is what I learned about my Leshiy today.

I have to agree. Initially I installed the spring ball pin thingy, to make it simulate a 2nd stage. I shot it that way for over a year. Then I purchased a 2nd Leshiy & shot it a bunch with the single stage OEM trigger. I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong... but Ed was right. The single stage is where its at for this trigger. Now both of the triggers on my Leshiy's are single stage & I'm super happy.

That is what I learned about my Leshiy today.

My thoughts exactly regarding the trigger. I did pick up a second Leshiy used which already had the 2-stage mod. I'm thinking I will be undoing the mod in the future as I find it makes me a little bit less accurate as I begin to tense into the 2nd stage of the shot (more-so than with triggers designed as 2-stage).

Mr. Steven Brown is building me a blue laminate grip in the newer style, so I am looking forward to "showing-off" that additional in a few weeks.
