Should I lube Pellets after washing them

Is lubing pellets after washing them pretty much just to keep the oxidation down or is there some other benefit? I know some have reported better accuracy but not sure from my own experience. For those reporting better accuracy, at what distance do you see an improvement?

I don't wash pellets & don't lube them but I can see why someone would. I just prefer to keep certain high accuracy barrels polished & clean. Not dry...but clean... With CZ barrels I have a hard time wanting to even clean them as the ones ive had/have are seemingly freak barrels that just want shot direct from tin & never seem to change POI. Barrels are my fascination in all this & its a very interesting ride to be sure.
