Drinking straw!

Yes. You slip a drinking straw, typically a plastic one in the muzzle end far enough to get to the actual barrel. Then feed the Patchworm or whatever string you use from the breech and it should slide up the inside of straw.
Some times bar straws or certain coffee stirs come in various sizes that might fit your barrel just right.
Back when I competed in highpower service rifle with an M1A we had to clean from the muzzle end. Everyone used a rod guide that slipped over the flash suppressor. Was never keen on cleaning from the muzzle but that’s how it’s done on an M1A.

Yes, the drinking straw trick seems silly at first, but you'll be going into McDonalds, just to buy a drink and grab a couple extra straws. Micky-D straws fit the Mrod well. But even a Bic pen tube can work.
