I would just buy the Alpha6 2.5-15x50 and get a clearer scope and at the same time save more than $100 and get a lifetime warranty from a company based in California instead of a 3 year warranty for that Discovery. Only the ED versions of the Discovery scopes carry a lifetime warranty FYI.

The FFP JSAR version is questionable on warranty if the need ever arise and that's why I don't really push for that FFP JSAR version. Best to get it in writing from JSAR.

The Chinese scopes are warranty mail in then they swap you with a brand new one and they toss yours into The trash. Thats how they work. That's why they charge 4-5x the price. Lucky it's not a $1199 Chinese scope.

Aim Sports may seem to feel their Alpha6s may be indestructible since it appears as though they are working on a very small margin compared to all other Chinese brands. I tried negotiating wholesale on bulk quantity purchase and it seems as though their margin is less than 50% instead of a 200-400-500% like the other brands.

You can contact Alibaba as I did but the minimum is 500 to 1000 pieces of the same item but you will be shocked how cheap all Chinese scopes costing up to $1199 really are.

...I can see they are the same scope but the few places (2?) I found that are selling them are selling them for $100 more than the Discovery except this AR15 place...

...they are not much, if any, cheaper than any Discovery I could discover, but they have (had) a few them in stock, instead of in China...so now they have (had) two in stock...LoL...

...thanks for the information...I was aboot to buy the Discovery off Amazon @ a slow boat from China...

You're gonna really like the huge eyebox and sight picture compared to most other higher dollar Chinese scopes and the illumination is unreal nice too and one of the best I have ever seen regardless of price.

THEN You try go look through a Hawke or Vortex or Athlon or pretty much anything else Chinese even a Bushnell Forge you WILL see what I mean.

...fuk...maybe I will get the 4.5x27 for the varmint rifle...

...I wanted something 2-3 power for the 45...

...I never had anything higher powered than the Bushnell 4200 Elite 4x16 on the Escape...

...I bought that scope for the Daystate Firefly I used to have...that rifle was nicer than the Esacpe...

...at least the AR 15 place had a bigger mark down in price...LoL...

...I went Full Charlie Brown on that...I do not want to shoot any of the deer around here and always have a .45 ACP handy if I were to need to...

...I kinda wish I got the super powered scope that Yo has been on aboot but I am glad I got this one anyway...ended up @ $229.05...(Yo!)

...it should do well on the S200 I have coming home soon that needs a good scope...this thread has been quite productive in that regard...

...I might well want a lower power factor than 5 in a close range hunting scope...
