RAW Rapid Shots per charge?

I have a rifle on order, HM 1000X, 30 cal.

If the rifle is properly adjusted and using pellets appropriate for 100 yd benchrest shooting, approximately how many shots would be usual from a fully charged (230 bar) 480cc tank?

I do not own a .30 cal, but depends on pellet weight, if you want to go with 250 bar fill (doable with HM 1000X) and if you want to install an SSG?

-> JSB 44.75 grain, 250 bar fill + SSG, set-point 150 bar - you would likely get 50+ shots .... just guessing.

Raw .30 reg 160 bar. 250 bar fill 4 mags (9 shot) . 36/38 shots per fill. When stars align will shoot sub moa @ 100 yds.

They aren’t the most efficient rifle, and it will also depend what ammo and speed ur shooting at.

With the addition of plenum, anti hammer bounce device and better valve, these guns become very efficient.

Mine is at 74ft-lb shooting 44.75gr I get 30-40 shots per fill. Can’t say shot count is critical with a gun like this.

Agreed. I am using this information to size a supplimental tank. Which leads to where I was going with this. What size tank to get 4 refils of the rifle?

Hey Shambozzie,
That's an efficiency of 1.04.
Shot count would likely go up to 50 if you used a SSG. Just guessing, thinking you could get efficiency up to 1.36.

That's roughly an efficiency 1.12 (40 shots/90 bar used/480tank/250bar fill). Even at higher FPE's, I think these guns can be made more efficient.
Motorhead would be the one to ask ..........

I have not even taken delivery of the rifle and you have me on the mod/upgrade path. LOL

If you are asking about a fill tank to fill your gun, ALWAYS buy the largest 4500psi tank you can find and afford. You will not be disappointed.

I get 36 shots with mine with 44.75 Hades at 890-900 fps with excellent accuracy. I have a 9 liter tank and get about 10 refills at 250 bar
