Shot some very promising slug groups today...

These two groups were shot with the edgun matador r3m .25 with a huma reg, power plenum and hammer weight. It slings 34 grain knockouts at 860 fps.

I had been shooting griffin 30 grain slugs, and those were actually tighter by quite a bit. I have shot numerous 10 shot groups that were half inch, which is very hard to believe but I have done it.

It is however painful knowing your plinking at .17 cents a shot.😬😬😬😬

The knockouts are much closer to .7 cents a shot, which is pretty awesome!

Perhaps I may shoot the griffins for competition and use the knockouts for hunting. We shall see...

Anyways, it's a pretty awesome feeling relaxing on the recliner with that warm fuzzy feeling knowing your gun is tuned really nicely and shoots MOA again and again and again.

Winds were actually fairly strong today, perhaps 10 mph, so I'm totally ok with 5/8" at 60 yards.

That's the edgun on the left. Hard to describe how much i enjoy that gun!

She stacks jsb 25.39 grain pellets like nothing I've ever seen. Here's a very normal group at 60 yards. That's at 880 fps. Gotta back the hammer spring waaay out when I shoot pellets.

Anyways if you have an edgun and want to shoot slugs, give those a try. I wouldn't bother on a standard length gun though unless it's highly modified like mine.

But the long versions would do well I think!
