Shot these N50 cards yesterday.
A couple of thoughts as I am shooting these N50 cards frequently over the last couple/few months.
Safari HP .22 - I am finding that JSB 25g Knock Outs at 945 FPS is quite accurate at 50 yards and more 'forgiving' than the JSB 25g Redesigns. Both shoot well, but so far the Knock Outs have always out shot the MRDs which fly at 970 FPS on medium power. Some days the Safari can keep up with my Anschutz 1907, but a vast majority of the time the 22 LR outshoots either of my air rifles. No surprise there;.... for me anyway.
RAW shoots the MRDs at around 940 FPS pretty well. Thus far, I have not been able to beat the Safari with the Knock Outs at 50 yards shooting these cards.
NOTE: I use a site in target that sits below my N50 cards on my target stand. For a couple of the cards, I was sighting in and zero'ing at 50 yards and I had a couple of shots accidentally hit the N50 card above my site in targets. I think the Safari was last zero'd at 100 yards when I shot NUAH cards, and I had some high shots. I need to move my site in practice target down a bit further on the stand, to prevent this from happening in the future.
I need to recheck #22 bull on the '248' Safari card. That looks like a 9 and not a 10 from the picture.
