Shot some awesome groups today with my .22 impact.

Gun is a mk2 impact with a 500 mm superior liner. 

Shoots .216 nielson 20.2 slugs at 990 fps. 

Groups were at 100 yards. 

Wind was very favorable at 0 to 1 mile an hour.

Temp around 85. 

I have owned this gun for over 2 months and knew it drove tacks with the nsa slugs at 50 yards, and I had greased numerous prairie dogs at 120-170 yards so i suspected it was pretty accurate at 100 yards. Needless to say, i am exceedingly happy with the results.

Awesome is right, groups to be proud of, though those prairie dogs wish it wasn't so accurate. Looks like you have a winning combo with those slugs.

Good groups you shot there. Mine was doing jagged one hole groups at at 50 yards so figured it would do well at 100. You have shown me what to expect.

Have you tried 217 knockouts (JSB)? The guns really shoot well. Trick is finding a windless day . I wish I could read the wind better. A small amount at 100 really makes a difference I’m shooting a 700 slug barrel and it will not shoot the 216. Likes the 217. I’ve found slugs are real fussy but if you get it right it’s really the way to go beyond 100.

Great shooting especially with .216!!! The .217 23 grain has been stupid accurate well past 100 yards.
