Shot my first Rat with LCS

Back in younger days a few of us would go to the garage dump at night with flash lights taped to our .22 barrels, lots of fun.

This afternoon I went down to the lake shore and noticed that the beavers started chewing on my willow tree. As I looked up a little to my surprise I saw a large rats butt and tail in the Y-of the tree. It had been watching me.

I eagerly walked fast pace to get my LCS .25 cal, had to take a pick between it and the .30 cal LCS and FX. The FX lost out due to the lack of full auto, rats are fast and I didn't want to miss this wonderful and exciting opportunity.

The rat was still there when I got back and I put the barrel about 24" away and fired off a quick burst. It jumped out of tree wounded for sure then I proceeded to unload the full mag on it.

Never ever thought rats sleep in the trees during the day.

A guy could write a book about this story.

Oh yeah, my wife is so proud of me.
