Shot count for wildcat .25?

Ive recently bought a wildcat in .25 and ive put it over the chrony only to find im getting around 37 shots @ around 860fps.Yet ive seen posts where they say they get over 50-60 shots @ 900+fps whats the deal?This is one said post http://airgunnation.dev/topic/my-crew-and-my-thoughts-on-them/

I've only shot two clips through mine 5 were over the chony to get a baseline

Thats with a 25.39 grain. Can't tell what shot count will be yet.

mind is around 860 also ,not at the house to get chony print out. Any way to adjust FPS

going on memory,
I get 40 shots at about 915 FPS usng JSB 25gr. with a ES of 20 FPS
the next 10 shots slowly decrease to around 890 FPS

this is starting at 230 BAR and ending up somewhere around 150 BAR

I would be happy to get 40 shots@ 915fps that means i could drop the fps and increase the shot count.But im not even getting 40 shots and it drops way off.

40 shots at around 905 fps . 230 bar down to 150 bar. You can adjust the hammer spring ,remove the stock, bottom rear of the gun. Allen bolt, turn clockwise to increase fps

I'll give it a go and see what happens.I have adjusted my royale 400 im just a bit dissapointed with the shot count of the wildcat but horses for courses its much lighter than the royale.

PCP hammer spring tension is for finer adjustments. A 50fps increase is just outside what I would normally (and I don't have a Wildcat) like to adjust an airgun by. By all means adjust the hammer spring tension, but keep a record of your adjustments and their chrony results (and cylinder pressure after each shot).

Assuming you, or someone else, has not adjusted correct factory settings inadvertently and your chrony is accurate then I would be concerned that there is something wrong with the hardware; ie misaligned port or barrel, leaking seal, regulator issue etc etc

Ok went for another shoot today.Happy days.I never adjusted a thing.Im thinking its taken a tin of pellets for the reg to settle down as now im getting 48 shots @ 900fps from 230 bar back to 140 where it drops back to 860fps very suddenly.There is only like 5-6 fps difference over those 48 shots.One happy camper.
