Short range squirrel hunting

PA started squirrel season early this year. What a difference a month makes. All my shots were under 40 yards. Kozak FC 550 with Air Arms 18 gr pellets did the job. The close range kinda makes me wish I had a break barrel again, just for the early season.

With the leaves still hanging on the trees this time of year, my shots are never more than 25 yards so I hunt with my 12fpe 2260. This week the morning temps are high 50s to low 60s and an HW50 would be nice to have.

The trigger stick came painted camo. It's a gen 3. Have a gen 2 bipod that isn't camo.

Squirrel season started here in May but I like to wait until it cools down a bit. We have been getting cooler temps and I'm ready to get out there.
