Short pesting vid with some cast .25 slugs

This has been a bit of a back burner project for a few months now. It was actually not even on the back burner for the last bout 8 weeks, while I was practicing for a couple big matches with other guns.

Anyway, had some time to revisit lately and this was yesterday....


This is what they look like next to a .177/10.34. Big chunk o lead.

I'd rather spend the time shooting, but being able to make up some more projectiles from all the lead collected from my traps just feels right. Hard to argue with "free" ammo. (Yeah yeah, opportunity cost of my time spent casting instead of doing something else).
 
@Franklink That’s a good looking slug. Yea, it only makes sense if you put together, setup, or build a pellet trap. Thanks for sharing, misses and successes. I’ve never shot a Condor, but those shots were at pretty good distances. Nice shooting!

Yes, it makes sense with the volume of shooting that I do.

This is maybe 60% of the shot airgun lead that I've got piled up.
