Short pesting session with Taipan Veteran long .22

I had a couple hours to kill after work so I headed out to a farm to see if there was any birds that needed shot. Turns out there was. It started out rough as I missed two pigeons right off at 35 yards. Normally a gimme shot. The wind was blowing pretty good and I didn't compensate enough for it.

. Well I scared off the pigeons so I started shooting some sparrows and a few starlings. After a half hour or so the pigeons came back and landed on the silo. I shot one which flew out and crashed into a wheat field. Another one tried to make it into a hole on the short silo but I picked him off as soon as he landed. He fell inside the silo so I couldn't recover him. The other pigeons took off and circled around eventually landing on top of the grain leg. I picked one off there at about 65 yards and it dropped in the lane so I was able to recover it.

After that the pigeons left for good so I shot a few more sparrows before heading back home. I was using my Taipan Veteran long .22 shooting 18 gr jsb
