Short hunt AA S510 XS .177

Took the AA S510 XS Fac .177 out this morning . Got into woods around 8:30 and quit about 9:15, wind was starting to blow already and my buddy(landowner) was already out blowing leaves. So it was hard to see or hear the squirrels up near his house and I didnt feel like walking back to the back 40 acres of woods.
So I found a nice log and just sat down I could see squirrels way off in woods moving thru the trees, after about 10 minutes heard a sound looked up and there was a grey squirrel about 15 yds away on side of tree looking at me. A pellet thru both eyes ended his staring at me. About 5 minutes later a big fox squirrel came down another tree about 10 yds further out and put one thru her ear.
Was 1st time hunting with the S510 ammo used was 13.43 JSB Redesigned right at 21ftlbs.

Way to go! A short hunt beats no hunt, glad to see you're feeling good enough to hit the woods again.

Sweet looking rifle too, also makes me feel good to see someone else using a Bushnell AO scope.
Steve I like Bushnell scopes, eye box on this is a bit small but makes you have consistent cheek placement. They are bright/clear in the woods.
