I just managed killing my "shoot through hole style" chronograph after some 4+ years of relationship.
I had many style in the past 15 years, sometimes multiple units in same time, so I got some refined preferences.
I don't want to have any box style that I need to build a shelter above the sensors, I don't want to attach to a barrel …something relatively small and simple with a larger screen, that can show me a string of let say 6-10 shots, eventually android compatible.
This last one was an IR (infrared) shot through but apparently too small hole
but overall not bad performer for $60 from amazon and lasted me really several K shots over 4 years tuning my bottle regulators and airguns. I may try some US (ultrasound) box. I like the FX chrony design standing below the barrel on a small tripod, but for that same price I buy 6 of these I just destroyed yesterday. Eyeing the Labradar but kind of steep price tag out of my reach. I see couple nice looking new units in EU.
I know from my own pocket that no one chronograph cannot be more precise then the other (or which one to trust more), also if we would line up 5 units in front of the gun no two will show the same numbers. This marketed "precision" is really irrelevant, I want to get a string shot with comparable deviation on display.
Anybody can chime in?
