Shooting the new RAW HM1000x LRT

Looking forward to shooting my RAW HM1000x LRT for the first time soon. Cleaned the barrel and have a dozen pellets and slugs to test and more on the way. Not sure I’ll need it at this juncture, but if the Nightforce 4-32 X 50 FFP optic is not strong enough, I’ll attached my Trigger Cam and aim the gun looking at my smartphone and fire the gun with the Ransom remote trigger.

I used to shoot toothpicks at a hundred yards with a 32 power. You will be able to see a fly at that distance.

Yes, I really enjoy the 32 power, especially at my age.

While zeroing my scope to get on target, I shot this 9 shot group at 36 yards with 44.8 grain FX Atomic pellets not known for their accuracy. Getting ready to test a bunch of pellets and slugs soon.

Atomic/hades pellets are extremely accurate. Not sure where you’re getting that from.

My 25 cal is a an amazing rifle. This is 10 shots at 100 yards.
Many powder rifle won’t even do that this was done in the most perfect conditions but most of the time I’ll be in the 1” with decent weather conditions

Generally, it is recognized that the Hades accuracy falls apart somewhere beyond 50 yards.

Not in all rifles, and they are accepted as critter killers at moderate range, but long range accuracy is not what they are known for.

I’m not sure I agree. Although the design lends itself to helping them lose energy rather quickly, they have been accurate in many peoples rigs out past 100yds. I don’t think a general statement of ‘lack of accuracy’ can be made of these.

Anyway, I won’t take away from the OP post any more. Still fantastic. Groups!
