shooting the breeze

Hey Fuss......... I used to play some SERIOUS golf when I was skinny [+2 handicap] and soon found out that I could not even drink ONE BEER at the turn without ruining the back side. Funny, seems like all the friendly drunks I know have no problem driving a car while loaded but I can't even play golf after one.

I always say that the only thing wrong with the shooting sports [powder burners] is that you can't drink while you do it. I have a full length silhouette airgun range in the downstairs playroom and it just happens to be right next to my bar. I will have to give the 10 shots a tryout...since there is no driving involved. It'll have to be offhand but it should still work.

That silhouette range sounds like fun this time of year Gary.

I remember back in late 2013 when I first got into airguns and the wife enjoyed shooting the cheap springers with me.We would set up dozens of wine corks on saw horses at roughly 20 yds or so and plug away. We got a wild hair one night and I had a pack of those really small dixie cups. Filled them with beer, and the rules were if she missed the cork she had to drink a dixie cup of beer. If she made it, I had to drink the dixie cup of beer, and then it was my turn to shoot!
Didn't take me long to figure out I wasn't gonna win any of those games! LOL And it only got worse the more of cups I drank! LOL

Peace and beer keg grease
