Shooting the 25 Delta 🐺 with slugs at 100 yards, OMG is that fun

I spent a couple days this weekend shooting the Delta Wolf at 100 yards. I’m going to give you the results below.

Ok, I’ll bite.

Looks like Delta likes NSA 29g and 34g slugs best. What was your velocity? Also, what were the wind conditions? Those groups look good to me. Sub MOA and a bit over MOA on the other group.

I’m starting to think ( speculate really… ) the .25 cal high end guns are starting to out shoot the .22 HPs at 100 yards, but I also acknowledge they ( .22 HPs ) typically do well at RMAC and EBR too. My .25 Safari did not shoot as well as my .22 HP Safari, so who knows?

I need to buy some .22 cal NSA 29g and 20.2g for my Safari and give them a try as we discussed via PM.

Windy this afternoon, but still doing okey at 100 yards with the JSB KO 13.43 gr at 920 FPS

Nothing like a satisfying group at 100 yards with an air rifle. Here’s my latest at 100 yards, .30 Crown with the 44.75 grain pellet.

It is shooting the 29’s at 930

I do like the substantial feeling of shooting the 25. This rifle is also much less recoil sensitive then a red wolf.

I like the looks of the wood parts on it as my preference is at least some wood. Not that guns can’t look great without, but a little wood does and some warmth.

That's a great looking Delta Wolf. I like the wood upgrades that you did, and the upgraded scope rail and bottom pic/ARCA rails that AoA put on the gun for you... I see the scope rail goes further forward than stock, but is it also a bit higher and have an (20?) MOA tilt?
