So I went out today to see which pellet my New .22 Gauntlet would like. I tried Predator Polymags short and Ruger Pointed Hunting pellets at 30yds. Neither of them were bad but the polymags did a tad better. This is only my second time shooting an air rifle and and my first time at 30yds. I was pleasantly surprise how well the Gauntlet shot, really happy actually. The only thing I have done with the rifle is added the Hajimoto baffles, adjusted the trigger to my liking, it is so nice now, and added a 4x32 UTG scope. Oh, also I was shooting sitting off a shouting stick.

Nice shooting. If you ever get a chance try some of the JSB 18.13 grain Jumbo Heavy. Those pellets seem to always shoot the best for me in any .22 I’ve tried them. JimNM is right. This is an obsession; but in a good way.

Try the JSB 15.9 and 18gr also the cheap Wal-Mart Crosman Premier hollow points too. Enjoy! YO
