Shooting slugs or bullets

I have been reading alot about shooting slugs or bullets in airguns instead of pellets. I hope everyone understands how different the two are. Pellets have a poor bc and are limited in their flight. Bullets have a far better bc so the flight range is much greater with the same velocity. Shooting bullets in the open range or woods is pretty safe just like a 22 rimfire but shooting at a dairy or feed lot is very different. I would not feel comfortable shooting a bullet of any kind at either one. If a shooter uses pellets in their limited flight paths he can control the flight much better than using a bullet. I don't think I could kill any more birds at a dairy using a bullet vs a pellet. I am all for advancing the sport but please remember the consequences of the greater flight path of a bullet vs a pellet. Have fun, Scott
