Shooting range pics?

i would like to see pics of your shooting ranges and benches private or public. 

I have a couple of 100 yard ranges on our property. The closest public range is 10 miles away but there is a lot of state forest land nearby.

Douglas Ridge Rifle Range. DRRC near Estacada Oregon. There are several ranges here. 

Our wonderful political leaders have made it illegal to shoot in our yards, in the forests and just about everywhere else as well. Firearms can be allowed, in some areas, but airguns are not. So I have to drive for 15-20 minutes to get to the range.

The Dynamic Range shooting at 50 yards with the .22 500mm in February. Fist time out with the gun in so sighting it in. Day ends with it shooting one hole five shot groups.



The Silhouette range Shooting at 100 yards with the Impact .25 700mm in July. Day ends with many half inch and one inch groups.

Here is the shooting bench I built to accommodate two right handed people. This was taken a couple months ago just after I completed it. I do plan on either painting or staining the lumber after it dries out. It’s all pressure treated and was extremely fresh and wet when I purchased it. I can’t get a current picture with a view down range unless you want to look at mostly snow. I can get to 42 yards before I would hit the back fence, I’m eventually going to grade my property behind the fence and then move the fence back another 30 yards or so.

Free public range up in the National Forest. Super fun when you get it to yourself, super sketchy when it’s packed full of yahoo’s.

Gotta say, living in Florida this time of year definitely DOES NOT SUCK! Haven't had to shovel the first bit of snow...

Here are some pics of my 80 yard range at our house for both air guns and archery. I may be able to extend that a little more with some creative rearranging this summer. 80 yards is more than enough for the bow which is what I originally made it for, but the PCP's I would like to be able to stretch out a little more here at the house without having to go someplace else. 

This is a bush plane fly out access only range that goes out to 500 yards plus and could likely be extended out much further. Its about a 20 minute flight from the hangar I rent to get out there, so not too bad. Some friends a while back hauled the lumber out there in a small bush plane and built the bench. I think it is going to be needing an overhaul soon. Yes that is a glacier you see in the background... Shooting has never been more peaceful than when I head out there since no one can access it other than with a bush plane. Can't wait until this summer to get out there a little more often... There is also a very large lake in front of that glacier and in the winter time I can land out on that lake with ski's and shoot out to 2000+ yards pretty easily with the glacier face as a backstop. I have only every seen 3 or 4 other people doing that since its such a remote location.

And finally here is a range I just started clearing this winter up at our remote cabin. Also very peaceful to shoot at since the only way to access it is snowmachine in the winter and ATV in the summer. It is 8 1/2 miles from the nearest road through some pretty rough country. Right now I have a lane cleared out to a little over 100 yards but this summer I am going to see how far I can get it stretched out to. Should be able to get 200+ yards from the deck of the cabin.

In Alaska, you have to have a pilots license to get to over 3/4's of the state, and the small portion of it on the road system is loaded with tourists during the summer months. Per the whole population of Alaska, more people have a pilots license than a drivers license here. I guess that is part of the allure of it for all the overly dramatic reality shows.

100 yards to the big backstop and steel gongs at 35, 50, 75, and 100 yd. You have zoom in to see them all! Here in my semi-rural Mississippi neighborhood, nobody seems to know or care about my quiet shooting hobby.

@cwcarrera I live in the Miami Ft. Lauderdale area. My only complaint about the weather is that it is too hot.

My 100 yard range is still under a foot and a half of snow. I have been known to clear a path through with a snow blower, but not this year.

But I did clear a path from the garage to my 35 yard target in anticipation of warmer weather next week.
