shooting in different classes in Field Target

AAFTA handbook, first rule:

"Competitors shoot in one of three divisions..."

Think you may have read that to mean "only one" but that's not what it says. The meaning here is that depending on the equipment and hold used you will fall into one of three divisions.......Hunter, Open, or WFTF .

Actually, based on my equipment and hold, I usually "fall into" two or three divisions. But it's up to me to pick one.

I did indeed read it to mean "only one", because it only says "one". It does not say as many divisions as we want.
