Shooting flies at 25m

Living in South Africa in summer, and with a cattle feedlot on the adjoining farm, I noticed quite a few flies on my target, and with my Uragan .22 I drill them every time!

As soon as there has been a few hits, the fly juice attract more, and soon all target shooting is forgotten and it is fly shooting time! Shooting "small game" is really fun and I can easily spend a few hours or until the pellets run out. The ones that sprint across the target are especially challenging, the most fun you can have with an air rifle.

These are summer games as there are not really a lot of flies around in winter. I could imagine Australia is the country to do this in, plenty flies from what I hear!

Anyone else do this?

It’s one of my favorite shooting sessions, flys on the target. The best bait I’ve found so far is a squirrel carcass, the flys show up very quickly. I’m always relieved to see that other folks also do this lol!
