Is it illegal to shoot my Benjamin Marauder PCP air rifle at night in a residential neighbourhood?

IF it is not legal to shoot in the day light it is not legal to shoot at night But i could be wrong so Check Your local laws
You do not list the state or city you live in or i would have posted the law's if i found them .

I have halogen lights on my range for night shooting but the bugs are ridiculous here in the back woods of lower Alabama. It's like all the aliens come out at night.

I shoot at night with Night vision scope,
If you have Rats, it's the best way to shoot them, a little Peanut butter buffet with a backstop..... lights out.

Have a Zulus night vision scope on the Cricket. Kinda fun shooting spinners in total darkness.

I do all my testing at night because of wind. I don’t live in a tight neighborhood but I do have neighbors 100 yards to the left, 100 yards to the right and 220 yards from the back of my house. The only time they hear me is when I shoot at night. Sound really travels when the world is silent.

They're not "quiet" enough for me if you can't pull off night shooting. Testing or plinking is a whole other type of volume problem tho. I forgot where my power wheel was and sent a light slug supersonic one night. THAT is a mistake.

Most likely it is. Are your neighbors close? Are their houses within 200 ft? Illegal. More importantly, can they hear you? Do you get along with them? Do THEY have an issue with you shooting airguns in your yard?

Yup - this! I've shot my quietest airgun late at night and it sounds like the shot echos through the whole neighborhood.

Gen 1 or more modern? My Gen 1 mrod 25 needed a moderator to be quieter which also meant a bushing in the barrel band due to all the weight hanging out there.

Someone steps into my yard at any hour of the night it is game on. Wont be a pellet either.
