Did you ever wonder what it looked like when a water balloon is shot in slow motion with a pellet gun? Wonder no more. They also shoot a balloon filled with a non-Newtonian liquid (ie Oobleck). Oobleck is both solid and liquid depending on the shear rate. If you punch it you'll break your hand, if you slowly dip your hand into it you'll be covered in goo. It's fun to play with with kids because it doesn't fit their paradigm of how materials operate.
