Shooting a high-powered springer at looooong range - what’s the point?

Flintsack,

Nice shooting, GORGEOUS gun.

We love long range shooting with spring guns. What I like most is reading the breeze. A little will affect POI at short distances but, was my miss due to the breeze or did I just pull my shot? Stretch your shooting out passed 75 yds. and things becomes evident when gusts vary by a few mph.

LOL, reading comments about "super magnums" as first guns.....guess why my log in is R1lover! That was from before I owned and started appreciating lower powered springers.

I hadn't shot my HW 97 in at least 2 years. Dug it out, shot this target at 25 yards, seated with shooting sticks. After the first two shots, the next 5 are a nice group. At 12 fpe, it loses steam quickly, but great for backyard plinking.
