Shoebox shutting off when air source is hooked up

My Shoebox keeps shutting off when the shop compressor is hooked up to it.

It runs fine when only the air tank is hooked up but as soon as I hook up the shop compressor it starts clicking and shuts off like it is at the designated fill pressure.

My air tank is about 2800PSI right now and the Shoebox was set to turn off at 4200PSI.

Need some help how to resolve, thanks!

My guess would be that the pressure switch is bad. You might try another here....

Not certain as I have not tried or needed one. Or that its the exact replacement but appears to check the boxes.
