ShoeBox MAXX broken piston guide

A couple years ago, I blew a 7000 burst disk. No, the compressor didn’t pump up to 7000. I was using it to fill a mini Ninja bottle. I was watching the pressure off and on durning the fill. It happened around 3300. That’s what the guppy tank read. It always shut off at just over 4400. Anyways, I tore it down to do a rebuild while waiting on a couple burst disk to arrive. When rebuilding, I set the shutoff spring adjustment too close to the piston rod guide block. The vibration and constant hammering of the spring adjuster against the rod guide block broke it in two. Been using it that way ever since with no issues. A couple weeks ago, I blew another burst disk. While installing the disk, I notice the broken rod guide block again and thought about replacing it. Now that Tom no longer sells parts and a few of the SBs are being scrapped, I thought I might put an add for either the part or a whole scrapped SB. There was a thread on here about gathering broken SB parts for helping members repair theirs. But I couldn’t find it. Any help would be appreciated. Or just the part for that matter. Thanks. Darrell

I remember a post like that not to long ago, I searched for a hour too but wound up with no luck . The only thing I found was people saying some parts can be found on E-bay and at McMaster-Carr . There was a shoebox 8 in the classifieds for sale on page 4 I think $200 not sure if some parts are inter changeable .Sorry the best I could come up with ,good luck Darell
