Shimming a Scope

Great information Joe but NcStar makes height adjustable scope rings for about $20 for the pair. They are sold as 1 piece but I just get a pair. I got some to compare to FX No limit rings and to see if they perform well. I must say I really liked them and have 3-4 sets now along with 3 sets of FX rings.

Yeah like I say , shimming is a bandaid not a fix . Its just something to hold it down till my base gets here .Ive tried adjustable rings and just don't care for them ....But then again I probably didn't have a goo d set either !!

Love doing that. Just gotta make sure they're not flying in front of a window or something breakable in case I miss."JoeWayneRhea" It was just something I was doing before shooting flies with my guns today .
