Sheridan Silver

Gentlemen
I am new to this forum and am not the type to bend the rules. If this is not allowed my apologies.
I recently inherited a 1962 Sheridan Silver Streak in exc condition. At 72 and poor health I have no use for this lovely rifle, but would rather it be enjoyed by someone who values it than stuff it in the gun safe. Would appreciate any input as far as opinion on fair value. Pics if requested.
Thank You Very Much

I'd imagine that you could get quite a bit for it. You might want to post about it over on this forum. They (as do I) have a lot of appreciation for the Sheridans.

Searching ebay is another way to find out how it would be valued.

Luck,

J~

Depending on how excellent, I would say $250 - $500??? You would likely get the most for it on ebay, but there are more risks there...

You may want to consider passing it down to a family member who would appreciate it. These guns in excellent condition will only become more rare. I have a 1951 SS in mint condition that I will be passing down to my son...

I’m drooling. Growing up we had 2 Sheridan. I believe one was a silver streak and the other a blue streak. One had an open rear sight and the other had a peep. My dad cut about 1” to 1-1/2” off one of the stocks and would swap it back and forth for the kids (ages 4+) to shoot. We used a rolled up sleeping bag as a rest. Both were 5mm caliber.
